This form plays with the shapes of Heath's classic bowl shapes. yet it contains a surprise. The large saucer resembles a shallow serving bowl in profile but gains lift from a foot beneath it. Inside. the clay rises to form a secondary container that holds the smaller planter bowl. and keeps water from pooling on the larger surface. — Tung Chiang
