The planter and saucer in this form are not two separate components. but one unified object with a double wall. The interior layer has holes at the bottom for plant drainage. and the exterior features a spout low on the body. resembling a teapot. I found the low spout to be an interesting design solution for the problem of drainage. and a new perspective on the act of maintaining plant health. — Tung Chiang
